Recognition given by our coaches to celebrate players who are dedicated and love volleyball
Our featured players are our very own 2024 seniors. Going from left to right - Brynn (#6, Waialua HS), Penelope (#4, Mililani HS), Myah (#5, Hanalani HS) and Jada (#12, Mililani HS).
Brynn will be attending LCC majoring in Elementary Education, Penelope will be attending LCC majoring in Marketing, Myah will be attending Yavapai College majoring in Radiology and Jada will be attending Cal State Polytechnics University majoring in Animal Sciences.

This is Katelyn's second year with MVC. Katelyn is always prepared when she comes to practice and tournaments. She is always at practice early to help set up the poles and net. Katelyn is an all-around player that is instrumental to the success fo the team.
Katelyn's favorite color is lavender and likes to eat cheese pizzas. When she is not playing volleyball Katelyn likes to spend time with her family and dog. She is a 4.0 GPA student.

This is Miya's first year with MVC and plays on the MVC 13's team. Miya is a 6th grader at Mililani Middle School and played for the middle school volleyball team.
Miya comes to practice and tournaments with a hard working attitude, is coachable, is a great team player and has an impressive volleyball IQ for a 12 year old. Her personal goals for tournaments are very S.M.A.R.T (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound).
Some of Miya's favorites are ramen, Starbucks, cake and watermelon Sour Patch Kids.

Breanna is a first year player at MVC. She is a junior at Mililani High School. She has improved a lot this season to become a well rounded player. We can trust that at any position we put her in she will do her best and execute.

Aina is a setter and first year player with Mililani Volleyball Club. Aina attends Waialua High School as a junior and plays volleyball on the varsity team as a setter. Her favorite subject to study is math. Like most teens Aina enjoys hanging out, eating and pillow time. Aina and her family live on the North Shore where they enjoy surfing together. Aina's go to surf spot is "Lani's" where the surf is epic!

This is Aria's first year playing club volleyball on the MVC 12s team. She brings with her tons of enthusiasm, energy, and always has a smile on her face. She has a positive attitude and is a supportive teammate. Her knowledge of the game is growing rapidly and she always gives her 100%. Because of her hard work and dedication to the game, she is developing into a very good player.
Little known fact - Aria was the Spelling Bee champion of Wahiawa Inter school this year.

Idalis is a 2nd year player on our MVC 13s team. She is a 7th grader at Mililani Middle School and played for the middle school volleyball team.
Idalis plays middle for our team and has become one of our key players, she plays in all 6 rotations. Her confidence is growing and she is hitting harder and is even getting some blocks in there. Keep up the great work!
Some of Idalis' favorites are Starbucks, mint chocolate chip ice cream, pasta and Zippys.

Leia is in her 5th season with MVC. She has grown into a strong leader that pushes herself and encourages others around her to be better. Her dedication and love for volleyball shows every time she steps on the court. She was recently named "Most Valuable Player" in the President's Day Tournament.

Penelope is a first year player for MVC. Aka, "Penne" is one of several middle front blockers on our 18's team. She is an excellent team member with a positive vibe, has a coachable, hard working attitude and a fierce competitor. Penne and her family live in Mililani where she attends Mililani High School as a Mighty Senior. Since her freshman year, Penne has excelled in many subjects, her favorite being Language Arts. Her future plans include University of Hawaii at Manoa where she will major in marketing and minor in business management. Penne loves hanging out with her friends.

Aria is on the MVC 12s team. She is a hard worker, comes to practice prepared and is making great progress on serving, serve receiving and digging.

Aaliyah is a first year player at MVC. She is a freshman at James Campbell High School and competed on their Girls JV volleyball team. She is an aggressive middle blocker who is also a great team player. In her free time, she loves to relax or go out with her friends.

Our first "Featured Player" for the 2023-2024 season is Brynn who is on the MVC 18s team. Brynn goes to Waialua High School where she led the team to their 2nd consecutive OIA Div II championship. Brynn is a hard worker that always comes to practice with a positive attitude.
Favorite foods: Garlic shrimp, Papa Lando's fried rice & pinakbet.
Favorite movie: Sister Act 1 & 2.
Favorite color: Pink.
